My husband and I fell in love with Truckee nearly a decade ago – for its unique quality of life, strong sense of community, and the natural environment. I’m passionate about preserving all of those things.
We feel very fortunate to have planted roots here and can’t imagine living anywhere else. We own a home in Tahoe Donner, adopted our dog, Buck, from the Humane Society of Tahoe Truckee, and had our son, Colton, at Tahoe Forest Hospital.
I’m committed to serving Truckee. I am on a Technical Advisory Group for the Sierra Business Council, and I’m a member of the group 100% Renewable Truckee. Recently, I’ve been working with community partners to distribute no-cost PPE to local businesses and non-profits and improve Truckee’s Census response rates to ensure Truckee gets the essential resources it needs.
I am a public health and energy professional, and my work has spanned the United States, India, and Africa. Currently, my professional focus is within the energy sector, helping utilities across the nation achieve their energy goals, and designing customer-centric energy solutions. I have an undergraduate degree in biology from Cornell University, a Master of Public Health from Brown University, and a Doctorate in Public Health from UC, Berkeley.
I’m also a pro level downhill mountain bike racer, certified Level 2 BICP mountain bike coach, dirt biker, skier, and Olympic weightlifter. In my free time, you can find me hiking or riding our local trails with my family.
